Mr. Heart Attack's Top 30 Albums of 2009

Ningún año me había costado tanto trabajo hacer una lista de estas. 12 meses de muchos regresos y algunas sorpresas.  Puede sonar repetitivo pero, para mí, el Philly's Constant Hitmaker, Kurt Vile, fue la mejor sorpresa del 2009.

El 2010 ya suena como a que vendrá con un buen de lanzamientos vuela-sesos. Spoon, The Besnard Lakes y Spiritualized me vienen a la mente.

Ya se destapó la información de uno de los lanzamientos más prometedores del 2010. Continuando con la saga de espías y transmisiones en aparatos de onda corta, los de Montreal, The Besnard Lakes, liberarán su tercer LP ...Are The Roaring Night en Marzo del próximo año.

Acá un poco del press release de Jagjaguwar:

"There is a war now. The message has been sent through short wave in code. The Besnard Lakes twisting chronicle, or fever dream, of spies, double agents, novelists and aspiring rock gods has turned violent. Loyalty, dishonor, love, hatred all seen through the eyes of two spies, fighting a war that may not be real. One follows the other as they receive coded messages and spread destruction. The city is burning, and it's to the benefit of music obsessives everywhere."

Sounds epic. Y desde que salió el ...Are The Dark Horse, Jace Lasek (Kevin Shields lost mate) se ha mantenido como productor en sus Breakglass Studios, en donde nació el summer proyect, The Soft Province. Muy en la línea de los lakes.
